Summertime Long Hunter State Park Engagement Session

Sam & Tom’s Long Hunter State Park engagement session was one for the fur babies! When I first chatted with Sam, she asked if I would be okay incorporating their pups into their engagement session and their wedding. I’m pretty sure I responded with a ‘heck yes’ because well, dogs make everything better!

And these two (with their fur babies) were SO much fun! They already have a love of this location, living close by. So, it was only natural for us to plan their engagement session at Long Hunter State Park!

First, we started at the beautiful lake area. Even though the rain we’ve recently had made the lake pretty full, we were able to get some photos on the iconic rocks. Then, their dogs Rex and Sassy, joined in some photos of them. They definitely made it a more exciting session!

Then, we went to the beautiful field for the second part of their engagement session. We finished up with a few more photos of their fur babies. Sam and Tom then snuggled each other, giggled, and proved they’re going to be the most fun to photograph for their 2022 Nashville wedding! To wrap up our session, it was time to pop some bubbly! And who doesn’t love a good reason to celebrate!?

These two totally rocked their Long Hunter State Park Engagement session! And to end it with champagne and some sunshine peeking through the trees…a dream! I cannot wait for their spring White Dove Barn wedding! Because when your couples are this fun and adorable, you just know their wedding will be even more amazing!
