Garrett’s proposal to Alexandra was the latter.
A Florida Couple, A Tennessee Hillside
Garrett and Alexandra made the trip up from Florida — as far as Alexandra knew, a getaway to one of Nashville’s most beloved destinations. Arrington Vineyards, with its rolling hills and golden light, has a way of making any visit feel like something special. She had no idea just how special this one would be.
The Setup She Never Saw Coming
While Alexandra enjoyed the afternoon, something extraordinary was unfolding just out of sight. Garrett had been coordinating for weeks — enlisting her mom and sister as his closest co-conspirators — to transform a quiet hillside at Arrington into something from a dream.
A petal-lined aisle. A candlelit picnic. Soft lantern lights catching the late afternoon glow. Wine chilling, flowers arranged just so. Every detail chosen with her in mind.
Her own family helped build the moment she’d remember for the rest of her life.
The Moment
When Garrett led Alexandra up the hill and she saw what waited for her — the petals, the lights, the intention behind every single detail — the rest of the world went quiet.
He got down on one knee.
