As a Nashville wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing the stunning September wedding of Emma and Michael at Belle Meade Mansion in Nashville. The couple’s vision for their big day was a classic, timeless affair with a color scheme of dusty blues and crisp whites. With help from luxury Nashville wedding planner Christina Logan, this day was absolutely breathtaking. The florals featured elegant roses and striking blue and white hydrangeas, perfectly complementing the sophisticated vibe of the event.
From the moment we arrived, you can’t help but to be struck by the beauty of the venue. The grandeur of the Belle Meade Mansion set the tone for the entire event, with its stunning architecture and sprawling grounds. While known for it’s history, Belle Meade Mansion weddings offer couples an all-in-one location for convenience with a stunning setting. Just outside of downtown Nashville, its convenient location makes for a perfect spot for luxury weddings in Nashville.
The day began with Emma getting ready with her bridesmaids, all of whom wore matching dusty blue gowns. The bride looked radiant in a fitted gown with delicate lace detailing and a simple yet timeless train.
Meanwhile, Michael and his groomsmen were getting ready in their classic black tuxedos, adding a touch of old-world charm to the affair. As the ceremony approached, the excitement and anticipation were palpable. The couple exchanged heartfelt vows in front of their closest family and friends, with the stunning mansion and its manicured gardens as their backdrop.
As the newlyweds made their way down the aisle, they were surrounded by smiling faces of dear family and friends which added to the already picture-perfect moment. They exchanged their I do’s, sweet and tender.
Next, the guests joined the cocktail hour which featured yard games of cricket and corn hole. Guests sipped customized beverages and passed hors d’ouvres. Meanwhile, Emma and Michael captured some final couples portraits in the gardens as newlyweds.
Their reception– a perfectly tented affair, was transformed into a dreamy, whimsical space with soft lighting, candles, and white florals. The dusty blue color scheme carried throughout the reception. The stunning blue and white hydrangeas adorning the tables and adding a pop of color to the classic, monochromatic palette. And look at the couples personal touch of monogrammed napkins, a gift for their guests!
As a Nashville wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing many beautiful weddings. Emma and Michael’s Belle Meade Mansion wedding in Nashville was one to remember. If you’re still searching for your luxury Nashville wedding photographer, I’d love to chat!

And then there are the ones that take your breath away — not just in the moment, but in the months of quiet planning, coordination, and love that made them possible. Garrett’s proposal to Alexandra was the latter. A Florida Couple, […]

There are some love stories you feel lucky to witness from the very beginning — and Gabby and Miles are exactly that kind of story for me. I had the joy of hiding among the vines to capture the moment Miles got down on one knee, and now, months later, I found myself standing on […]

October engagement photos at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens — Nashville, Tennessee There’s something about October at Cheekwood that feels almost cinematic. The light goes golden earlier, the gardens shift into their rich autumn palette, and the whole estate takes on this quiet, unhurried magic — which made it the absolute perfect backdrop for Jon and […]

There are venues that feel like backdrops, and then there are venues that feel like characters in the story. The Estate at Cherokee Dock is the latter — a place so layered with beauty that every turn of the grounds offered something new, something unexpected, something made entirely for photographs. — Rachael Knaak, Harp & […]
