Capturing Nashville proposal engagements is becoming a thing, and I am a-okay with it! Josh contacted me before he and his love, Katie, were set to visit downtown Nashville this past weekend. He knew he was ready to propose after almost 2 years together, and he was ready to come up with a plan. I love being a Nashville engagement and proposal photographer, so I immediately went to work. I got to know them a little, and he told me they love city life and wanted to have the Nashville skyline outlining his proposal.
We set a time and place, and then I did a little research and found the perfect spot in Nashville’s Cumberland Park! Then, I realized there would be a Titans preseason football game at right around the same time he and I had discussed the proposal happening. We were so incredibly lucky, though, and the location I found with the beautiful backdrop of downtown Nashville was perfect for his proposal photography.
I could see the nerves in them both as they neared the alcove, and I ducked behind some tall grass to hide. Then, Josh began to drop to one knee and Katie’s face lit up. It was perfect! As the sun was setting, he slipped a ring on her finger and the combined look of shock and awe on her face was evident. They hugged and she couldn’t help but hold up her hand to admire the beautiful, shiny new rock!
We then walked through Cumberland park and up to Pedestrian Bridge for their mini-engagement session! I loved capturing some beautiful downtown Nashville engagement photos of them! We topped the evening off by snapping a few photos in front of the Schermerhorn Symphony Center before the two ran off for their downtown Nashville dinner reservation. Josh and Katie, I am so honored to have captured this memory for you all. Congratulations!
Are you still looking for your Nashville engagement photographer? I’d love to chat!
