When I first met Taylor and Joseph two things were very clear; they are absolutely crazy about each other and they were both extremely excited for their November wedding at Owen Farm just outside of Nashville Tennessee.
Getting to know these two as they prepared for their wedding was so much fun. But getting to be their Nashville wedding photographer was even better.
Taylor and Joseph are as down to earth as they come. I learned this during their May engagement session. They complement each other beautifully, and give each other the right amount of balance each needs. Their love of God and family are so evident and was fully present through their wedding day. Beautiful wine colored bridesmaids gowns perfectly complimented Taylor’s stunning lace wedding gown. Joseph and his groomsmen were dapper in matching grey tuxes and as guys are, they were quick to razz one another.
When Taylor said wanted to do a first look with not only her bridesmaids, but also her dad and her grandmothers, I was so excited. I love first looks with the father of the bride, and her dad did not hold back his emotions. I was definitely shedding tears of my own as she wiped his away. And the first look with her grandmother’s was just as sweet. I love that she wanted to incorporate them all and allow them to have a moment together.
As each of their nerves settled in, Taylor and Joseph each couldn’t contain their smiles. After they said I Do, and they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Young…I mean Gupton, everyone got a good laugh and both the bride and groom as well as their families and friends were ready to get to their beautiful reception during their Owen Farm wedding in Nashville, TN. They danced the night away alongside their closest family and friends. They shared tears through first dances. And their sparkler exit was perfect.
Being Taylor and Joseph’s Nashville wedding photographer was a dream. They are as genuine as they come, and I am so honored to have captured their day. Congratulations, you two!
