Whether you’re going for urban or modern, luxe or outdoors, Nashville truly has some of the most spectacular spots for couples! From downtown to our parks, you truly can’t go wrong! And seasons? I have to admit, I don’t have a favorite season to photograph Nashville in! Being a Nashville wedding and engagement photographer, it can be so easy to take it all for granted. But to each couple, it’s a brand new experience for them! So, here are my favorite 8 spots for a Nashville engagement session!
Still looking for your Nashville engagement or wedding photographer? Let’s chat!
Easily the most iconic spot for engagement sessions in Nashville is the Pedestrian Bridge. With it’s view of the skyline, this is such a perfect ‘Nashville’ location for your session! While it does have it’s own challenges (hello people everywhere) I absolutely had to include this one! Plus, below the bridge provides beautiful arched architecture for portraits, too!

Centennial Park engagement sessions offer couples so many varying looks! With the iconic Parthenon, tall columns give beautiful architecture for portraits. The pond gives me the feeling of Central Park here in Nashville. And I can’t forget the beautifully blooming gardens in spring and summer!

Easily my favorite spot for couples to choose for their engagement session is at War Memorial. What’s not to love about the statuesque and luxe feel of this place? From the tall columns to the green trees surrounding, the light filters in beautifully. This iconic Nashville landmark is often a spot my couples choose.

An Arrington Vineyard engagement session or proposal is also a top spot in my book! I know I say that about so many, but I often photograph proposals at Arrington Vineyards…and for good reason! From the beautiful views to the rows and rows of grapevines, the light here is simply majestic.

Percy Warner Park engagement sessions offer so much variety! Of course, the iconic Percy Warner ailee steps are probably the first thing that come to your mind. But did you know that there are other spots within the park that offer gorgeous options for engagement sessions? Plus, fall engagement sessions at Percy Warner are hands down some of my favorite!

A Nashville engagement session post wouldn’t be complete without including the Nashville skyline! This ever-changing skyline is always a favorite of mine. This gives a true and authentic downtown Nashville feel.

Just stepping a little outside of Nashville and you’ll find the gorgeous Long Hunter State Park. With gorgeous lake views, beautiful fields, and glowy light, I love how versatile this location is! Couples choosing a Long Hunter State Park engagement session love the water and being outdoors. And whether in spring or fall, it’s always beautiful!

An engagement session at Ellington Agriculture Center is truly a hidden gem! I absolutely love how gorgeous this spot is, and the options it provides for different looks!

There are some love stories you feel lucky to witness from the very beginning — and Gabby and Miles are exactly that kind of story for me. I had the joy of hiding among the vines to capture the moment Miles got down on one knee, and now, months later, I found myself standing on […]

October engagement photos at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens — Nashville, Tennessee There’s something about October at Cheekwood that feels almost cinematic. The light goes golden earlier, the gardens shift into their rich autumn palette, and the whole estate takes on this quiet, unhurried magic — which made it the absolute perfect backdrop for Jon and […]

There are venues that feel like backdrops, and then there are venues that feel like characters in the story. The Estate at Cherokee Dock is the latter — a place so layered with beauty that every turn of the grounds offered something new, something unexpected, something made entirely for photographs. — Rachael Knaak, Harp & […]

There’s something undeniably timeless about weddings at The Hermitage Hotel in Nashville. From the moment you step into the historic lobby, the atmosphere feels elevated, romantic, and deeply intentional. It’s one of those rare Nashville venues that effortlessly blends luxury, history, and warmth in a way that never feels overdone. As a wedding photographer, I’m […]

Some places hold more than memories — they hold the beginning of everything. For Ethan and Veronica, that place was Vanderbilt University. Where It All Began Long before the moment his mom called for me to photograph their Vanderbilt proposal, their story started on campus — woven together through shared experiences, late nights, and the […]
