When I first met Taylor & Joseph and we started discussing engagement session locations in Nashville, TN, I immediately knew a Percy Warner Park engagement session would be perfect for these two. This sweet couple is incredibly fun, and love simplicity. Who can blame them? Percy Warner Park offers different shooting locations that fit their personalities.
We met up on Memorial Day, and luck was on our side. All of Nashville was busy celebrating the start of summer, so the park wasn’t very busy. Win! It gave us the opportunity to move slowly through our session, laughing together, and getting them warmed up to posing and being in front of the camera before their November wedding. I loved this Nashville engagement session, and look forward to their fall wedding at Owen Farm!
Taylor and Joseph met several years ago, and they both admit they got off to a rocky start. But just spend a few minutes around the two of them, and you can easily see how in love they are. Their chemistry and the way they look at each other, how attentive he is to her, and how silly they are together has me so excited to see their marriage grow. Couples like this make my job the best!
Being a Nashville wedding photographer and engagement photographer, I love how this city has so many options for locations. From urban to country, or a small town feel, finding a place that resonates with couples is so important. After spending some time at their Percy Warner Park engagement session, we headed over to the Steeplechase part. Joseph is admittedly a country boy, and I knew this farm-look would be right up his alley. I was right. We spent the second half of their session chasing light and creating laughs and beautiful photos.
Joseph & Taylor, I am so excited for your November wedding, and can’t wait to get to know you two more!
