I absolutely adore capturing proposals. Getting to be in on such a HUGE secret, help plan, and see the emotion and excitement from both is so thrilling! Getting engaged is such a huge next step in a relationship, and I couldn’t have been happier to capture Loren and Justin’s proposal at Arrington Vineyards just outside of Nashville, TN.
When Justin contacted me about proposing, he told me how he knew when he first met Loren that he was going to marry her (awww!). And even though they’ve been dating for only about 8 months, he was never so sure of something in his life. He wanted to surprise her on her birthday weekend with a trip to Arrington. Justin worked with the manager of Arrington Vineyards to set up the most perfect proposal place for him to get down on one knee.
First, I snuck around the vineyard, following them as closely as I could, without her suspecting. When it was time to propose, they made their way to a beautifully decorated table, complete with flowers, a cheese tray, and their favorite Blackberry wine!
Then came the ring. And oh, what a beautiful engagement ring it is! Loren was SO excited, and immediately said yes!
We then ventured around the vineyard and did a mini-engagement shoot! Holy moly, can you just see the chemistry between these two!? And they were SO amazing in front of the camera! My clients are the best. The moments during and following an engagement can be a whirlwind, and I am so glad I was their Nashville engagement photographer and they have these photos to always remember this day by.
