I never imagined that I would ever think that ten years would pass in the blink of an eye. Yet when Haley asked me about taking some summer pictures of her and my older brother, Patrick, she quickly reminded me that it’d be a few days before their TENTH wedding anniversary! TEN YEARS! It seriously feels like just yesterday we were dancing the night away at their amazing wedding reception. Now, ten years almost to the day, we returned to that same field that their reception was held, but this time their two babies were in tow and they’ve grown even more in love over time.
This past week I packed up me and my kiddos and traveled back to my hometown in the mountains of southern Virginia to spend some quality time with them, their two babes (my beautiful niece, Sadie, and the most handsome nephew, Jackson!) and our parents, where I got to spend some time capturing their love and the beautiful family they’ve created. Typically my brother, being the guy he is, HATES photos…happy to report he was relatively well behaved this time, and I even got some real smiles out of him! Another upcoming celebration for this beautiful family will be Jackson’s 4th birthday at the end of August! Can you believe it? Because I can’t!
