Hannah & Chad’s intimate backyard Tennessee wedding this past Saturday was so full of love, joy, and laughter! Despite planning their wedding day during coronavirus, they held onto their original wedding date and plans….to get married literally in Hannah’s parent’s backyard just outside of Murfreesboro, TN in Woodbury! I love when couples say I do at a spot that has special meaning to them. Hannah’s love for her family’s farm was so evident during the entire planning process! Together as a family, they raise sheep and she shows sheep, so getting to incorporate the things important to her heart was huge for Hannah.
After the bride’s first look with her dad where both shed a few tears, it was time for Hannah’s first look with Chad! Their excitement to see each other was beautiful, and they embraced for several minutes and soaked in the memories of the day. Then, it’s time for their bridal party to join in for photos! We all laughed and had so much fun as the time got closer to make their promises of forever.
Then, after the ceremony, we got to welcome them as the new Mr. & Mrs. Lewis! Their first dance was underneath a chandelier that belongs to Hannah’s grandmother, inside of the barn that her father built. And surrounded by so much love.
This sweet Harp & Olive Photography couple has been together for over 7 years. To say they were ready to say yes to forever was so evident. So, on May 30, 2020, surrounded by close family and friends, Hannah walked down the aisle with both of her parents by her side. Chad’s smile was huge as he saw his bride, and they stood inside the barn her dad built just for their wedding! This entire day was a love affair of family and friends pulling together to help give this sweet couple a day better than they imagined. That is what I love so much about being a southern wedding photographer. The way family and friends band together each wedding day is beautiful.
Hannah and Chad’s intimate backyard Tennessee wedding was packed full of happy tears, emotion, and lots of love. Congratulations, and thank you for allowing me to document your best day!

There are venues that feel like backdrops, and then there are venues that feel like characters in the story.
